I'm an introvert that loves people. My background is in social & behavioral psychology research, and now I build tech products that help people become their best selves.
My default settings: curious, open, playful, earnest.
Recurring themes:
- 🫂Human connection – exploring how digital and physical environments, from dating apps to city streets, can facilitate positive social outcomes
- 🎯The intention–action gap – helping people align their behavior with their goals and values
- ✍️Writing – a grounding vehicle for exploring ideas
I'm currently in exploration mode: connecting, writing, learning, and building.
To support my writing practice, I'm (re)building First Draft Club, a community and accountability program for people who want to write more.
I'm also tinkering with AI tools, having coffee chats, and exploring what comes next.
I started my career in academic research, studying social psychology & behavioral science at Northwestern & Harvard Business School.
The next step was to apply these principles in the "real world", and technology seemed like a great playground for exploring human behavior. This brought me to user research, which I led for companies like Equinox, Mailchimp, Samsung, and Eventbrite, in addition to helping early-stage founders explore the idea maze.
Eventually I realized I wanted to start building things myself, instead of just making recommendations. I started working directly with engineers, creating community-oriented projects, and most recently joined an AI learning startup as their first product manager.
I'm looking to join a startup in NYC.
The ideal fit would be a product role at a consumer tech company <200 people (seed–Series C).
